It gives me great pleasure to pen down a few words that outline our mission and vision for Kaasthamandap Vidhyalaya: a school with progressive education at its centre. Learning is always a dynamic and organic process and the ways and means of doing so are varied and challenging. We, at Kaasthamandap Vidhyalaya, seek to provide students a congenial and positive, yet challenging environment that will support their all-round development needs and inner awareness. This, we hope, will lay the foundation that will eventually bring about in our graduates the best capabilities which will make them productive members of our society, country and eventually the world.

Our curriculum focuses on learning by doing where the emphasis is on experiential learning, practical work, observation, enquiry and discovery that lead to lifelong learning habits. Educational needs of children at different developmental stages of conceptual processing are being catered to while respecting the unique individuality of each child.

We also aim to  provide an education that will gear them towards developing leadership qualities through a wide range of extra-curricular and numerous co-curricular activities such as drama and debating, music, MUN (model united nations) community services, sports and so on. Students are also involved in organizing and participating in various activities in and outside the school community. 

To further our vision of caring and sharing with our community which is at the heart of all our educational endeavors we have recently started providing teacher training and school management services through our outreach program conducted under the KLTCE ( Kaasthamandap Learning and Training Centre for Excellence) banner. The entire team of KLTCE, comprising our new leadership and coordinators’ group, are highly educated and well trained and I have full faith in their ability to help Kaasthamandap spread its wings and reach out to the larger community to make a positive impact in our country’s education sector.
