Social Studies and Art Exhibition was held at Kaasthamandap Vidhyalaya on 14th November 2017 by classes VII to X. The Exhibition showcased various projects, models, plays and PowerPoint presentation prepared by the students as a part of their project-based learning methodology. The projects and models that were put on display were related to the field of Social Studies and Art, encompassing the subjects; History, Civics, Geography and other society related fields.
Grade VII and VIIIstudents displayed a wide array of models based on topics such as the religion, history, culture and geography. It was a colourful display with models created from paper, cotton, toiletries, clay and various other items.The main attraction of VIII was 'Lakhe Dance' which showed the typical Newari practice.
GradeIX and X jointly exhibited models, presentation and play on History, Geography and other social issues.The beautifully presented play with fine acting by grade X was noteworthy.
There was a great deal of enthusiasm shown by the students as everybody appreciated the hands on approach to the learning aspect. The parents and guest students of other schools also considered the programme remarkable.
